Our Brief
Design Solution
Although this kitchen meets the client’s brief for a simple aesthetic, it doesn’t lack in impact. Streamlined cabinets, symmetry, a mirrored splashback reflecting light and the stunning river view, and semi-floating cabinetry meet the brief of achieving a light and airy space, while the concrete island bench top provides contrast and a central focus to the space. Hidden beside the fridge is a walk-in pantry that keeps the microwave from sight. The client injected some personality into the kitchen through the large, round door knobs. These elements all work together to provide a truly bespoke style.
Due to access restraints, the beautiful concrete island bench top couldn’t be manufactured off-site. This complication didn’t deter the client or KAM and the concrete was poured in situ.
